The Ranch

The Miller ranch is a 6th generation cattle ranch in Absarokee Montana. The Miller Ranch bulls score in the top 1/3 of the Angus breed for weaning, yearling, carcass weight, and marbling score. Our Ranch is “Beef Quality Assurance” certified for proper cattle handling and vaccination protocols. The cattle are raised on the high plains pastures in the beautiful foothills of the Beartooth Mountains near Absarokee, Montana. They are finished on a corn, grain, silage and roughage ration at Lackman Feeders in Billings, Montana. All of the feed these cattle eat is grown locally in Yellowstone and Stillwater Counties of Montana.

The Miller Ranch has started a cover crop program to increase the production of the land. The ranch is focused on sustainability, stewardship of the land, being carbon negative, and most importantly of all, raising the highest quality beef possible.

Aged to Perfection

The Beef

Once finished, the beef makes a short trip down to Cody, WY to get processed. Our processor can custom cut beef to whatever specifications are needed to supply your needs. Our processor dry-ages our Steak Primal Cuts for 21 days.

Currently, we have burger in all bulk forms and patties at 85/15 and 80/20 meat to fat ratios. We have steaks cut 1 1/2″ thick and also at 1″ thick. We can provide whole primal cuts as well if requested. We also sell beef by the custom whole and half.

Open Door Policy

We want people to know where and how their beef is raised. We have an open door policy on the Miller Ranch by appointment. Give us a call and come on out to the ranch to see how your beef is raised!!!
